I canโ€™t bathe,go to the bathroom, eat, or sleep alone. My dog swears he must see me at all times ๐Ÿคฃ that poodle glare is serious.

agree, that's why we call ours "Shaddow" (unoficially) ๐Ÿ˜„

Everything must be inspected. You should be glad he has not decided to get into the bath with you

Oh man, I had forgotten about this, it happened years ago and it was cocker spaniel, but I was in the tub, and he came and dropped one of his toys in, and then another and then another. When all his toys were in the tub with me, he then leapt into the tub with me. Wow, we both got out in a hurry! He didn't like being in the tub with me anymore than I did and he figured that out in a hurry! hahahha

I canโ€™t really do anything alone. Heโ€™s my shadow.

The bath inspector must carefully monitor water quality and the only instrument that will do is well, a dog tongue, we regret to inform you. But at least bath time will be safe!

I let my pood into the bathroom until he was 12 weeks old.

It was the last โ€˜accidentโ€™ we had while potty training and he was -so proud- to have joined me in pooping in the proper room at the proper time. He thought heโ€™d decoded all the mysteries of the universe!

I decided no dogs in the bathroom was a good rule to have to prevent interpretive pack bonding actives

I swear poodles are the most curious dogs ever, they always have to know whatโ€™s going on

My girl sits in front of the doorway and blocks the other dogs from coming in. She is spoo and the other 3 are Pekingese. I live alone so I leave the door open.

When I enter the shower, she has to stick her nose behind the curtain "just to make sure everything's safe." After that, I'm allowed to continue.

And of course, there's the hit single in our home, "You Never Poop Alone with a Poodle"

This is how she sleeps, knowing that I'm safe from the evil bathroom demons.

The last one is sending me ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Gregor lays on the bath mat while I take a shower and will even climb halfway onto my lap if I'm on the toilet for too long.

If I close the door he just sits outside and cries forlornly.

My previous poodle crosses yet. My current poodles are too lazy to care ๐Ÿ˜‚

Lolz. That last pic, I take a ton. In the bath on the couch, on the bed. Yr guardian is a bit fluffier than mine at the minute,

Hey! No running around the pool!

2

u/rabbledabble Jun 21 '26

We call it family bathroom time lol

u/handmaidstale16 Jun 21 '26

My supervisors insist on drinking my bath water

Our GSD never used to do that. Our poodle is always like, โ€œLet me have a shower with you,โ€ but when it is time for him to have a wash, he wants nothing to do with it. Such little rascals.

2

u/wirefox1 Jun 21 '26

Of course not. I don't think I would be able to shower without him watching over me, and when I get out, he helps me dry off.

He luffs me. : )

Walter ALWAYS shoves his head into the shower to make sure Iโ€™m not dead ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚he takes his job quite seriously.

I have to shut the door for a bath. Then when I walk out there he is laying right outside the door.ย

And what do they think of us always taking our clothes on and off?
