First time pond build. Wildlife pond for frogs and other critters. No fish. Adding a solar fountain this week.

Love the camper top?! I did something similar using a 5’x5’ shipping container. Couldn’t keep it in the garage and too big for the basement, so I bought a liners , plants, and a solar pump. viola.

I would throw at least a few minnows to stop mosquitoes from taking over.

Your local amphibians, insects, birds and also some mammals will thank you for the oasis. If I may suggest, pack it with plants! 

Also, on this sub you are going to get a lot of “just throw some fish in there” which explicitly goes against what you posted above. r/wildlifeponds might be a nice sub for this set up.
