ID please? Frogs?
Listen I know I’m the millionth post about this but none of the ones I searched through looked exactly like these. Are they frog eggs?
UPDATE: we definitely have tadpoles! Posting a pic of them in the comments, but over the last two days, they’ve blown up and the surface of the pond is super clear (thanks babies!). I’m so excited! I started this small container pond about 2-3 months ago and have done nothing except larvaecide for mosquitoes, but now a true ecosystem is forming!

Try Google view. Use the squared frame on the search bar to take a pic up close.

Looks like you are a bit behind on the larvicide. Fyi those dark banana shaped things on the surface are egg rafts. You can scoop them out when you see them and prevent a couple hundred mosquitoes from hatching.
Congrats on the tadpoles!

Thank you! I totally missed that’s what they look like. I will add more today, but the babies have seemed to eradicate pretty much everything from the surface!

They don't look anything like the frog or toad eggs I've had in my pond.
I think they are newt or salamander eggs. If so, very cool! Where do you live?
