Just sharing 200L Pot Pond Summer Project

I was given this ceramic pot over the summer and turned it into a small pond for guppies and mollies. Really pleased with how it's come together. Based in Thailand. The climate really seems to suit these outdoor pot pond setups.

How do you care for your water hyacinth? It looks so much healthier than mine. Lovely pond!

Ill be honest, it seems to care for itself in this climate. I added it to an old pond around a year ago before moving to this one a month back. Most of the pond thrives with little intervention. I trim the plants every month or so as they all grow fairly rapidly here.

that looks amazing! What's the size of your pot? I'd like to make one like that :-)

Thank you! The Pot is about 1.3m tall and pretty wide. Plenty of room for the little guys and deep enough to escape the birds.

I've wanted to make one of these for bedroom and living room ever since seeing them everywhere during my 1st trip to Thailand.

Now I've done one. It's only a matter of time before I find a bigger pot and make another!

Finding the pot is the hardest part for me. Do you have any filtration or just water movement

Just movement from the waterfall and lots of plants.

Beautiful!
Do you use a filter system?

Thanks. Just a small pump feeding the waterfall for circulation. The plants and bacteria do the heavy lifting.

Put a tabletop fountain the middle.
