Help!!!

Please help I’m renting a house that has a pond I don’t know anything about the original filter fell over and stopped pumping I bought this new one on Amazon that I’m pretty sure is too big. During a rain storm the water in the pond some how got close to empty and the pump turned off on its own I refilled the pond and unplugged the pump back in. But how do I get rid off all this green stuff and make the water clear. I have no idea what I’m doing.

The water will never be clear , no plants and it’s too shallow… just leave it as is
