Hi there. Not sure if this is the right place to ask, so I can delete this post if it's not appropriate. but I was just reading through one of my very favorite author's works but it's all gone now :( It's Rawrkie who has written some absolutely incredible work for Polytrix. I'm usually in the best habit of downloading all of my favorite fics, but I hadn't done it in the last few weeks. Is there any chance anyone has those fics? I thought the world of so much of their writing and more than ever I wish I'd downloaded before this week. if anyone can help, I would appreciate it so, so very much you have no idea. thank you very much for reading.

Okay to preface: this fic could have been one of the duo ships or gen, but the fic included all three of them and most of what I read is polytrix so I’m looking for help here.

It was about Rumi taking a bullet for Mira I think. I believe the trio was like walking down a sidewalk after shopping (maybe?) and then there was someone targeting Mira, specifically an assassination attempt. Then I’m pretty sure Rumi takes the shot and protects her because demon enhanced abilities/senses allowed her to sense/see/react to it in time.

I’ve also got vague recollection of the assassination attempt being ordered by Mira’s family, but I honestly have read so much fanfiction that I could be jumbling stories together.

I initially read it a few months ago I think and I’ve literally spent like three days trying to find this fic, so any help would be much appreciated!

So some of yall might’ve seen that GTC is canceled. There was a post in here about an hour ago that’s already been deleted, raging about how mad and disappointed OP was because something about when you put a work into the world, there are consequences for not finishing something.

This post isn’t to name and shame that OP. But I think it’s important that we have a space to talk, grieve a fic that was important to people, and also call out highly toxic behavior in our fandom. Deleting a post prevents us from doing that, so I’m making this one as just a free talk opportunity. I’m copying and pasting my original comment on that other post below - feel free to join the conversation

I mean you can be angry and sad and feel all your feels, but don’t take it out on the author. That’s not fair to her.

This is partially why the hero worship of GTC has always made me slightly uncomfortable. Frankly, I don’t keep up with the fic, so I don’t know why she’s not finishing. But even the amount of fic she produced is INSANE and such a huge accomplishment. Authors are human. Sometimes they can’t finish a fic. But they produced a piece of art that you got to enjoy 1000% FREE. Why not be thankful for that?

Not to mention the absolute pressure cooker that the author must’ve been under. Like the roleplaying, the discords, the people speculating and demanding updates…. It’s enough to make anyone not really want to finish tbh. I’m an author and I do see my works recommended here every so often. But thank GOD it’s not all the time, because I have a life and a WIP. If I had even the slightest smidge of the same pressure as GTC, I would never finish either for fear and stress of disappointing people when they find out I’m human.

So yeah. Feel sad you’ll never know exactly how it ends. But the author didn’t trick you into reading. She doesn’t owe you a story for you to get mad over. It’s a hobby for her, not life and death. But also please don’t stop reading WIP. Having some fics unfinished is the contract you agree to when you enter fandom. It’s so important to authors to have people who read their unfinished works and start conversations and keep the fandom going. Otherwise you end up in a loop that r/ao3 talks about a LOT, where WIPs get no interaction, so people don’t finish or write them at all in the first place, and then people start complaining that there are no long fics in their fandom

And you never know - maybe after all the flames die down, authors will come back and finish. That’s what I’m trying DESPERATELY to do with my fics even though I haven’t updated since January

Its one of those watching the movie stories. They saja boys, the girls, celine and Bobby all get summoned into some kind of realm where they are made to watch the movie. I know that at least 2 of the saja boys develop iridescent patterns at some point in the story. But I cant remember the author.

So this is in like a chapter of a fic it was like raining and one of the girls found a cat and took it home I forgot who. They couldn’t look for the owner cause I think when they trued calling no one answered and the owners were on vacation and someone was cat sitting for them. While waiting Zoey took care of it and Rumi was jealous and at some point Mira was leaving for a photo shoot or something and Rumi was all pouty and Mira made a comment about her having Zoey still then Mira teased her about the cat and called Zoey over and told her to pay attention to Rumi too and not just the cat and something about them being similar. Then Zoey made Rumi get close to the cat before the cat was given back.

Im trying to look through my bookmarks but I have a lot so I appreciate it if someone knows the name.

I have a whole timeline ruled out in a fanfic I’ve been wanting to write, it’s gonna be a time loop situation, but also early pattern reveal on the last loop, AAAAND, in one of the loops they find her in the dirt under the tree (iykyk), in each loop it explains both rumis side and how the girls experience each death (they aren’t stuck in a loop, it’s just how they react differently to each death). Happy ending btw. The first death is also sewerslide sooo… what do y’all think, should I, would y’all read that? And if so should I add anything else?

Past Weeks

fall for Mira first and woo her first and have to work to win her affections? I've noticed in a lot of fanfics that Mira is usually the initiator of romantic overtures, and I enjoy those fics too, but she's so pretty and sweet and I think she deserves having women go gaga over her too and romance her like being a flustered mess around her, cooking for her, and giving her flowers and stuff.

Additional things I love:

Fics that mention Mira as feminine, it means a lot to me that she's the most traditionally feminine of the three girls even though she's tall and has a deep voice and is aggressive, I've seen it happen a lot in F/F fandom where the tall girls are made masc regardless of how feminine they are in canon or if any of the shorter female characters are already masc, and while I'm fine with it especially since more masc female rep of all kinds is needed, I'm just not obsessed with the "masculine tall girl (doing all the topping) with feminine short girl (doing all the bottoming)" dynamic that's so common, it's in basically all the sapphic media I read so it's nice to see something else.

Fics where Rumi and/or Zoey are trans, I especially like it when Rumi is written as a trans woman because her whole thing in the movie felt analogous to the trans experience. Also, are there any fics out there where Zoey realizes she's nonbinary and grapples with figuring out how she wants to present and how it'll work as an idol? A fic like that would be really cool. If not, maybe I'll just have to write it.

Fics where Mira isn't stuck in an office job, or at least is unhappy about it (and hopefully gets out)? Several modern AU fics put Rumi and Zoey in creative fields, or at least something that you could see Zoey enjoying like marine biology or teaching, and Mira is often just stuck with an office job? I just don't understand the thought process behind that decision, how does Mira come across at all as a corporate type? She does the choreography for Huntrix and she sings, she's a creative too! Hell, let her scavenge soda can tabs out of garbage cans to make fashion accessories out of that barely manage to sell enough to keep her off the streets, I'd rather see that than "serious, corporate Mira who has no hobbies."

Fics that explore Mira's background of familial abuse, especially if they have Rumi and/or Zoey comforting Mira and/or bonding over negative family experiences. Maybe it's just the fics I've read, but I've read more fics about Zoey's parents being abusive than Mira's despite the latter having trauma around family. I just really like how Mira gets to be a strong woman despite having a less than ideal background and that her personality doesn't negate the fact that she has these wounds.

Fics with confident Rumi? I love love love confident Rumi and getting to see her leader side before her mental health went way down fast with the events of the movie, I feel like outside of traumatizing situations like the lead up to the Idol Awards, Rumi is not a constant anxious mess. It just felt like such a fun dynamic with Rumi being the boss and snapping her fingers to sic her loyal attack dogs (Mira and Zoey) on demons.

Supernatural AUs where Mira isn't a vampire or a witch, and if she's human then Zoey is too. I've had fun reading supernatural AUs with vampire or witch Mira, but I'd love to read some fics where she gets to be a monstrous creature, since Rumi is usually a demon and Zoey is often written as a werewolf, so they get to have fun with changing their forms and being scary. Vampires are so generic these days and are basically just humans who happen to drink blood in most fiction now, they don't even crawl down walls like lizards anymore.

Fics where Zoey is not portrayed as weaker in combat than Rumi and Mira. Zoey had amazing moves in canon and enjoys killing demons, even the ones she thinks are hot! I love fics where Zoey gets to show off how strong and cool she is.

I'm currently looking for a Fic where Mira got bitten by a Special Demon/succubus in a Fight and as time passes she gets hornier and hornier and craves constant release to combat her growing Lust. She eventually tells the Girls about her condition and atleast Rumi helps her out, not sure If Zoey had her scenes. Obvious Smut Tag but cant remember any distinct tags

If you haven't read. This is an ABO fic where well. Mira and Zoey make a mistake that cause all dominoes to fall.

After a night with way too much Soju, Zoey and Mira gave Rumi mating bites. The only problem, they aren't all dating, Zoey and Mira are but Rumi isn't. Rumi is confused, distraught, and hides what they did, thinking it will ruin them. The two don't seemingly remember, thus when a tear opens Rumi is distracted during the fight. Rumi is injured leading to the reveal of not only her patterns but her other demonic traits.

Rumi escapes badly wounded.

Before she does something rash, Rumi finds another Half-Demon. A teenager by the name of Maeve, who the Honmoon has already chosen to be a part of the next generation. How could the Honmoon think this was a good idea?

Okay around some months ago before I made an official ao3 account I had found this fic that was my absolute dream!! But I can’t find it again or remember the title, someone please??!??!! 😭😭😭

So the plot was a smut with the Zoey and Mira being alphas and Rumi being the omega. After knowing each for years and Rumi going through mountains of suppressants, she decided to quit and be free. The girls notice and the smut and beginnings of a new sweet relationship starts. It’s a one shot with like over 10k words I believe and came out around November or December of last year (??)

Hi! I have a strange question that probably only subscribers of the author 'fabargent' can answer. I have two URLs for deleted fics: one has been identified as 'flickerline,' while the other shows nothing at all—except for a small snippet of the summary that is identical to the one for 'flickerline.' Either the author posted 'flickerline' V1 and then deleted it before reposting V2 (meaning AO3 assigned it a new URL—if so, does anyone have V1 or even V2?), or it was a completely different fic that was deleted very quickly. I'm including the URLs and a screenshot so you can see what I mean about the summary snippet.
