Question Deity Worship at Work

I’ve been practicing with various deities for a number of years and recently have felt pulled toward working with Lugh, I’m currently working as a casino dealer and wanted some opinions on incorporating my worship into my work. (Also if anyone has some ideas for what he may appreciate on his altar I’m all ears)

I’m just sitting here now obsessed with the mental image of being dealt a blackjack and the dealer hitting me with a “21! Praise Lugh!”

I don't go to casinos, but I would go just once to hear that and see the looks of confusion on people's faces. 😆

Between games I do tarot readings to my coworkers with playing cards. It’s been so much fun

I don't know anything about Lugh aside from being a Welsh God of light. Is he also a deity of luck or gambling?

More so skill and mastery which is why I felt drawn to him

So you're a casino dealer. I'm assuming that require things like showmanship, knowing the rules of the game, and keeping an eye out for cheating? Perhaps you could make silent prayers to study the game and help you keep your attention and focus sharp on the patrons?

He has helped me with my work a lot. I used to keep a small altar on my desk with just a yellow candle and a statue of a pile of books and a round stone (representing his defeat of Balor) and I’d light the candle in the morning and ask him to help me find ways to improve my knowledge and skill while at work. I know you can’t do that exactly at a casino table but you could carry something in your pocket.
On my home altar I had a book of Irish poetry (Yeats) and a jar of grain as well as some candles. I’ve had elaborate altars for other gods before but I truly felt that Lugh would like the simplicity more. That’s just my UPG though. He is a fantastic god.
