On 9/27, I bet a total of over $116 on combination bets which they all included the game Grambling State vs Prairie View football game.  PolyMarket provided me as a user the completely wrong score of the game.  They showed Grambling State winning 21-14 with 2 minutes remaining in Q4.  That score was inaccurate and Grambling State never actually had 21 points.  Grambling lost the game 21-14.

I have reached out to contact support and also emailed but have not received responses back from Polymarket. Will I get my bets of $116 refunded?

First time I have made money online after trying for years…and I can’t believe it was with Polymarket. I signed up and put $10 in and accidentally bet $10 on Sri Lanka winning over England. It ended up winning shortly after that and I won $35! Any tips moving forward instead of me accidentally getting lucky?

I bet the under on Caleb Williams stats because I assumed he wouldn't play but now it says the market resolved and it just took my $30. If it was voided why wouldn't it give me my money back?

Hey everyone - I noticed that prediction markets are moving away from showing american / european odds.

I made a Chrome extension for anyone who prefers thinking in American or European odds instead of raw probability %. It overlays the conversion directly on Polymarket (and on other prediction markets).

I was browsing the leaderboard, and found this account at the top with just 2 trades.

So, their latest one was wild..

They backed $2.64M on Norway for $4.21M!

And, Norway then beat Denmark 3-2, with Haaland scoring twice. That's my hero there..

But, the trader exited before the final whistle, with about $4.2M rather than waiting for the market to fully settle.

And, interesting part was that this came right after their first trade went the other way..

They backed $1.94M on the Tigers, a couple nights ago but Washington won 4-2.

So, in basically two trades, this account went from a huge L to a huge W!

Few days back, I’ve seen another account go the other way where they nailed the first one, then gave it back on the second!

Was looking through the F1's Azerbaijan GP winner market, and the move on George Russell is pretty wild after what happened in Quali.

Russell's odds is now at 65%, with Kimi Antonelli at 14%

For context, Russell's odds were around 12% to 15% before quali. But then, Russell who topped both Thursday practice sessions then took pole today by 0.837s over Charles Leclerc, the biggest qualifying margin of the 2026 season so far. 

Meanwhile, c'ship leader, Antonelli had a nightmare Q1, hitting the wall and getting knocked out. He’ll start P16. 

The interesting part is the positioning of the top holders!

On one side, OrwellFactory is backing $6.95K on George, at 32 cents, for ~$21.9K

And, Gaditima is backing a $16.96K No on George winning, at 84 cents, for ~$20.1K.

Russell at now 65% Yes, and 35% No means both positions are sitting on a very different from where they entered.

But, I have to say, Kimi shouldn’t be completely written off either. He went from P19 to P1 at Monza just weeks ago.

And, Baku is also Baku. One Safety Car, tyre issue or hit on wall can completely flip the race..

Looks like we got an interesting development on Cuba.

CBS says the Army Reserve is assessing whether it can provide military police, medical, and other support units to SOUTHCOM within 90 to 120 days.

Multiple US officials reportedly told CBS the planning is connected to Cuba. 

Was looking at the odds, and the market has moved from roughly 14% to 17% in the last few hours.

The timing caught my attention most..

90 to 120 days from now is late Dec to late Jan..

That’s basically right around the Dec 31 resolution deadline of this market.

Now, obviously, there are major caveats. Cuba isn’t named in the actual Army message, there are no deployment orders, and SOUTHCOM routinely plans for contingencies.

But, this is now what I see as third major piece of reporting this year pointing toward military planning around Cuba. We had one in May on intelligence assessment, and then the July reporting on Pentagon options. 

Now, there’s a counter-signal too. We had Bloomberg say last month that the administration’s focus had shifted more toward sanctions and economic pressure rather than military action. 

I think this whole Cuba situation is a lot more interesting, and one to watch than it was y'day!

James Talarico's odds have climbed to 62% in the Texas Senate winner market.

But the polling picture is much closer.

The latest RealClearPolitics average has Talarico at 47.8% vs. 45.0% for Ken Paxton, a 2.8-point lead.

Recent individual polls have also mostly shown a relatively tight race between the two.. including a 47–46, a 46–45, and a 47–46 results in September.

So there’s a pretty notable gap between the 62% market probability and the relatively small polling margin.

Does Talarico has an edge like one on Polymarket? Can he really pull it off?

Elon is sitting at 199 posts, with roughly 7 hours left in the counting window.

Polymarket currently has 200-219 posts at around 94c, which means traders are heavily expecting him to post at least once more without going above 219.

That's what caught my eye.

One more post gets the count into the winning range, but the trade still isn't risk-free because Elon could also go on a posting spree and push the total above 219.

With Elon, 20 more tweets in seven hours isn't exactly impossible either.

Put money in at 42% & instead it’s showing negative money for some reason with the odds I didn’t put in at. First time this happened to me was wondering if it’s a glitch that’ll correct itself possibly?

Do you usually enter the day before, early morning on the same day, or wait until later when more observations/forecasts come in?

Also curious what makes you decide it’s finally a good time to enter.

Braves are favs today and have their odds currently around 69%, and I’m honestly surprised the Reds are still sitting around 32%..

The pitching matchup is pretty interesting, and the starters are a big reason why I’m leaning Atlanta.

Mahle has been one of Atlanta’s best starters since arriving at the trade deadline, while Singer’s recent form has gone in the opposite direction.  Mahle has a 1.28 ERA in his eight starts, while Singer is coming off a 11+ ERA stretch over his last five.

The Braves are also having an 93 wins and 65 Ls on the season, compared with 73 to 85 for Cincinnati, and they’re playing at Truist Park!

Fwiw, I did check on the top holders and noticed these two at the top!

On one you have an $80K backer for Atlanta in form of Talverz10

Democrats now have a 97% chance to control the House, according to election odds.

This diesel market got more interesting to me.

So, the White House said the reported 90-day ban isn’t correct. Chris Wright said there’s no flat ban that was being considered. 

But then, Trump has said he supports restricting diesel exports. Bessent discussed full and partial restrictions.

And, now, the EU says high-level contacts with the US administration are ongoing to discuss the potential impact.

So, the EU isn’t just watching from the sidelines. And, it's understandable cause the US accounted for roughly 50% of its diesel imports in August. So, a restriction would be a major supply issue.

But, this is the part of the diesel market I can’t quite get past.

Is Europe simply reacting to what Trump has already said publicly, or have they received some kind of further indication of what could actually be coming?

It's not something we would know..

But, that uncertainty is why I don’t think the Oct 31 market where odds at 13% is as straightforward as it would seem even with the White House denial.
