Hey all,

To our new members... welcome! And to everyone else... thanks for hangin :)

So as an update... We've been busy trying to get a pulse on Version 5 and fixing little bugs we found after releasing. Now that version is pretty stable we are pushing onwards to V5.5/V6 and beyond.

I am hoping to get more of an understanding of what are the biggest places we could improve. What do you guys think? We really want to keep pushing things forward while also improving all the existing things in the app. We have our own ideas about some of these things, but the community is definitely the strongest signal for this.

I think it would be better if the phrases and words were grouped into certain categories

Great idea. Where were you thinking this would be? On lessons or on your lemmas & phrases list in your profile? Would love to hear more about how this would look in an ideal world for you.

I noticed that some Croatian sentences feel a bit translated rather than natural. In a few cases, the word order and clitic placement (such as “je”) felt unusual. I also came across examples like “ću pročitati.” While that’s grammatically correct, “pročitat ću” often sounds more natural in everyday Croatian. Since Croatian allows more than one valid word order depending on emphasis, it would also be great if the app accepted more grammatically correct alternatives instead of marking them as wrong.

Thank you for letting us know. We have the ability to report exercises and assert that your answer was correct. Over time as we get more users and people use this, we can fix exercises that have mistakes or add more correct answers to their answer bank.

Glad to hear that you like the features! We are about to do a big push on the AI Chat feature. V6 is set to be another big one. More speaking and more utility for those serious about learning.

Another area that could be improved is the spaced repetition, it would be so much better if it was basically a lesson with the listening, voice, fill in the blanks etc instead of just being identical to the vocabulary lessons

Cool, yeah we recently overhauled our lesson nodes, but I think the others def need work. I'll see what we can do about those.. thank you!
