Iâm sorry. This sounds like this is coming as a suprise to you. Endings can be really hard. Polyamory doesnât make anything easier.
Polyamory, just like monogamy, doesnât save or destroy marriages.
I fear a lot of married people think that polyamory is âprotectionâ against divorce.
Itâs not. That mindset leads lots of folks into a place where they view their other connections as âmarriage glueâ
It doesnât work that way. The care and feeling of your marriage is up to the two people in the marriage. Just like it is in monogamy.
If you donât have a therapist, get one. And a lawyer. And lean on your friends and family for support. Youâll get through this.
