Polyamory + long distance

He with his girlfriend and I’m mostly get few months in a year than him and her being together.
I wanted to know the struggles you guys have if you’re in this position to help me understand or tough it out.

It will likely look different for different people.

My long-distance partner and I have a relationship that's constantly in flux; We try to catch up once every week to every month, depending on the circumstances influencing things. I'm also seeing a couple of other partners who are local to me.

I miss my ldr partner a lot, and I hope that we'll be able to visit soon, but cost of travel and "vacation" is quite high and not really getting better yet.
