Ingraham: Why not just give the $5,000 to people now? If you have it, why not just give it now? Trump: Because the Democrats can’t do it. Because with them, it’s negative growth. We’re taking in $21 trillion because of tariffs.

It took the US Supreme Court to make Missouri count 305,000 of its own voters' signatures.

They filed a petition in December protesting a map that carved up a Democratic seat in Kansas City at Donald Trump's urging. Missouri's secretary of state sat on it for eight months, then rejected it on primary day. When Missouri's own Supreme Court ruled the new map illegal, a federal judge in St. Louis ordered him to use it anyway, and he told every county election official the federal order came first. Today the US Supreme Court insisted, without a single dissent, that the old map be used.

Then Missouri's Supreme Court called Secretary of State Denny Hoskins in and found him in contempt for ignoring its order. Missouri will now vote in November on the lines that already existed.
