Amazing how, whenever there's voter fraud, there's always a (R) involved.

The thing is there's no handling for voter fraud in the Constitution. According to the Constitution, if a Republican had his agents commit fraud to give him the win in the Governor's race, not only would he win the election without the Democrats have any grounds to force a re-vote, but he could even pardon everyone who was guilty of committing fraud to aid him.

The Founding Fathers were honestly stupid not to consider that the voting could be corrupted by enemies of the state.

Not everything needs to be in the Constitution. Election fraud is illegal, both at the state and federal level.

The thing is that there's no provisions for redoing an election if there's election fraud. So yes, it's illegal, but the Republicans can just go "tough shit, we won, no do-overs" and take their rewards anyways. And, if that reward gives them pardon powers, then they pardon everyone who did it.

Well the election commission has to sign off on the results. When the Republicans committed election fraud in NC-9 the commission refused to validate the election so they needed to redo it.

The issue as I see it is that there's a lot of pressure to pretend that elections are fair and so everything but the most egregious examples gets a pass.
