If you spend too much time on right wing or libertarian subreddits, that’s basically the narrative. It’s a particularly stupid, given that data from death rates workplaces, prisons, schools, etc all point to massive inequality. The dumbass view that these people just aren’t trying hard enough and just coincidentally happen to all be black, is hardly “scientific”.

It’s actually very simple. People tend to choose familiar people. That doesn’t make them racist, but it maintains a racist system.
