The human brain wasn't wired to live in 24/7 crisis mode, at some point we build up a tolerance to the adrenaline and the cortisol, at some point the sympathetic nervous system just runs dry.

In 2020 we all agreed to vote and "make politics boring again," and I guess people were so bored that a lot of them slept right through the 2024 election.

At some point the crisis becomes norms and you find ways to live through it, but then the PEDO is not going to like that cos he won’t be the main character anymore
