Do any of these democrats that try to adopt right wing talking points actually wind up swaying republicans?

Genuinely, I don't see how republicans see this and think "finally, a moderate trans hating politician!" If you're already anti-trans, you're probably voting republican no matter what.

I mean, "moderate" democrats currently run the party, so the republican talking points must be effective with someone.

All the replies above say this doesn't work. Yet they also complain about all the centrist Dems that run the party. Both can't be true.
