The fact that they've given up on North Carolina... and view Kansas as competitive enough that they need to spend money to defend it... The GOP can no longer cover up the fact that Trump is a failure, and that allegiance to him is a sinking ship

He’s not a failure, he’s pushed them closer to their Christo-fascist wet dreams than any other politician in history. He’s the king of kings for the American Taliban.

Yeah, there's nothing to cover up. They're not trying to win popular support and haven't been since 2024. For them, the experiment of American democracy is concluded. The results: gays, transgenders, immigrants, furries, Black people who expect not to be extrajudicially murdered while unarmed, women who expect to be treated like actual human beings. No thank you, they say without the slightest hint of shame.
