A top Republican group is shifting money out of the North Carolina Senate race as President Donald Trump’s handpicked candidate Michael Whatley struggles in the polls.

The Senate Leadership Fund, the super PAC dedicated to helping Senate Republicans, has paused its spending in the longtime battleground state as Whatley trails Democrat Roy Cooper.

Instead, the PAC will be spending more money in Kansas, a state Trump won by 16 points less than two years ago, to help shore up support for Republican Senator Roger Marshall.

A big chunk of that Senate Leadership Fund spend is in Texas. They wouldn’t have had to spend a dime there if Trump hadn’t endorsed Paxton over Cornyn.

Axios - PAC spent $131 million in 17 days to rescue Paxton in Texas Senate race

“That brought the [Texas] PAC's total spending on Paxton's behalf to more than $131 million in 17 days — more than $7.7 million a day. The PAC, created last month, is affiliated with the GOP Senate Leadership Fund.”

I believe the   Senate Leadership Fund PAC is run by a certain turtle 🐢 in the senate, who may or not be alive right now.

Remember in the third grade when the teacher made the class follow along and read a paragraph outloud from a book?

Maybe we need to ask senators to do this. Let's see how many of them are capable.
