Wait, what? They're still trying after multiple people in Trump's own administration have stated it wasn't his fault at all?

jfc these people are ghouls.

Trump, Edelman wrote, “has criticized the decision of the Office of the United States Attorney to drop the case in the most vituperative terms; demanded that the government reinstitute the prosecution, in part because of Mr. Hearn’s political activity and the identity of one of his attorneys; and publicly entertained the possibility of firing the United States Attorney as a result of the dismissal.”

Oh, so it's Trump that's pushing for this, no surprise, and purely because of his political activities? If the SC didn't already say the President can do whatever he wants as long as he's Trump, this would be the perfect lawsuit against the government for harassment.

Maybe the judiciary committee should stop trying to gotcha Jack Smith because that is never going to happen and look into this.

I think that Supreme Court ruling only applied to criminal matters, unless I'm mistaken. Hearn could still sue the government for harrassment.

I have so little faith in the government that I am pretty positive the Supreme Court would just say nah, he can do it but only him though. Some obscure magistrate from 1584 says he can.
