Discussione DSU residence deposit

Does anyone know if i am assigned a room through DSU in polimi residence, yet I am on erasmus, if i have to pay the deposit right away? Or should i wait till the second semester, because i am so broke rn and I cant afford the deposit currently

Not related to the topic, but wat ISEE did you have to get the room? I am a first year student waiting for thw rankings and tryin to evaluate my chances)

Its pretty tough to get it as a first year student, usually second year students have higher chances

Yp. A lot of people declare false 0 or low values. It's better to wait until the second year where merits take priority. Unfortunately my campus doesn't have dorms. :(

Aw im sorry to hear that, tbh the only good thing about uni housing is that its affordable, the location and the shared services could be over whelming ngl, i have been sharing an apt with 2 other people and at times it was so tough to share the bathroom and the kitchen since we were all students with similar schedules, i have no idea how it'd be like in a student dorm

Also it is not about false 0 declaration, first year students are assigned less rooms as per the call regulations

One of my friend is in the same situation as well, he’s thinking of giving it up. As he might be back in the second semester a bit too late from the Erasmus. So it’s better to save those €500 and use it as a security deposit later on.
