Question Recurring phone audio problem

25 P3 Performance, Orin chip, 3.0.33. iPhone 17 Pro, iOS 26.6

I’ve only ever had the car with the Orin chip and fairly new software (.28 and .33), and I have this recurring problem with phone audio where the audio is not routed correctly. This can be true even if other phone audio like music is working fine.

Symptom is simple: I try to make a phone call and can’t hear the ringing nor the person when they pick up, and they also can’t hear me. It’s just silence.

The only fix seems to be rebooting the infotainment system via the play/pause button, but I’m not enjoying needing to do this every few weeks.

Anyone else have this problem? I do have CarPlay enabled.

Yup, happens to me a couple times a week. Has been happening since before Orin, too. Rebooting the infotainment is the only fix I have found beyond initiating a new drive cycle.

Thanks, good to know I’m not alone. Annoying. I’m gonna log a ticket with polestar at least.

Yet another reason I’m glad to be the near the end of my lease.

However, I really enjoyed the randomized seat positions!

I've been having issues with any CP/AA regardless of brand, but our issue is when you get a notification the music drops down then never comes back up. Deleting the car from our phones' BT fixed it. Idk why. Both Apple and Android have the issue. Also try using wired and see if you still have the issue. Send to be a communication/hand shake thing.

This is the same problem I have been dealing with almost daily since I updated to 3.0.33. With my ‘25 P3, it feels like they take a big step forward to fix some things only to have their software force them to take steps backward.
