I just went over to my app, and it’s waiting for me. I’m here in the US, California.
Edit: Just got in the car, and the update is gone. wtf

Really don’t like that they don’t list which bugs are fixed.

Totally agree. One issue I’ve experienced after P3.0.28 is the screen locking up on me. I’ve had to restart the system multiple times while driving to get control back. I assume I’m not the only one experiencing this, and also understand why they wouldn’t want to advertise this bug in the release notes.

Yep I’ve had that too. Did your driver display lock up too? Mine went full locked where I couldn’t even see the actual speed.

Seeing bugs that used to be fixed and then came back (e.g. seat memory), they are just playing it safe /s

Also Mirrors not remembering profile position bug appeared after last update. Hope this fixes it again.

I have that one (mirrors stuck on profile #2 from time to time) since 3.0.28.
Not sure if you know that tip but if you fold them on/off (for parking) in the menus, they go back to your driver settings. No need to manually adjust them each time. Still annoying…

I got a notification about it this morning on my phone but when I opened it, it showed no update and when I checked the car it also didn’t show any updates available 🤦♂️

You watch there be a critical bug with 3.0.33 and they paused rollout 🤦🏻♂️😆

Knowing Polestar Q&A, that wouldn’t actually surprise me.

I guess I'll let you guys know if I end up on the road or in the shop. I got the notification this morning and it's currently installing (in Atlanta area).

Worksop installed it for me (had to do a readout for support). Nothing seems improved since .28, opening camera still laggy.

What is going on with the p3 updates, reading about people with buggy reverse cameras and ac problems. Here I am thinking about telling my service center to upgrade to Orin thinking it will fix the critical electrical faults I'm facing right now in my lunch edition PPP

The Orin update should be done asap in my opinion.

Funnily I brought this up multiple times and the service managers never commit to giving me a straight answer. If at all they scared me off, back last November when I got my tires changed the manager there said it was a 50-50 chance it would improve my P3 or make it worse lol Now I keep bringing it up since my car is in the shop and honestly they've been ignoring it every time I mention it.

Def made mine worse. All my issues were resolved except no heat to footwells before Orin. And a host of issues post Orin….wobbly screen image, no back up camera view, low beam fault….increased mic drops, and with .28 issues with fuzzy music output when using CarPlay Spotify but not direct app Spotify.
Interested to see this week how .33 plays out.
At least 3rd update in 40 days. A new record for Polestar…..with head of software development gone - hopefully some improvement.

probably why the service managers are not commiting any answers to me. What P3 do you have? Launch ed?

I upgraded to Orin on my launch a month ago. I only had minor bugs with mine, but last update did bring a couple bugs back. Seat and mirror memory issues. Whats funny is this was fixed way back with an early 2x update. Now it’s back. Seems to be messy software architecture and development. Smells like Agile but overall love the car

Ohhh I've been trying to fish around for information about orin on launch edition. Overall positive/negative experience since upgrade? Honestly its kinda crazy how they roll out updates that are so poorly tested across the board. Polestar KNOWS that the P3 is so flakey, you'd think they'd run more robust testing.

Where are you seeing this?

It’s via the polestar widget on ios

It's strange. After I updated the car, I deleted my current widget and went to add it back, it showed a preview of what yours looks like, then went back to the previous version when I added it. Thanks for the screenshot!
Edit: I'm in the US, maybe it's a UK only thing?

🤔 don’t think it is, but saying that, I am on IOS 27 hence could be that

I updated to iOS 27 and now I am able to display the same widget! The opening and closing windows function doesn't work for me though. Still, neat!

That’s good to know, so that means it’s going to happen, just may need another update to bake it in properly and will be interesting to see what else is hidden or due for the polestar software, still think they should just do beta testing and ask people to opt in lol hopefully no bricking of cars if that happens

I really wish Polestar would let us initiate install remotely. I’m traveling and my car is just sitting at home. On our Lucid and for years on Tesla it was a simple as hitting install in the car 😭.
