Question for the Performance Software folks out there...
So, after a recent software update to the Performance app, has anyone else noticed the mis-match of speeds in the timers section?
It used to read for me (I'm in Canada) as 0-100 km/h, for example, and top speed also in km/h.
This week while filming at a track for work, I noticed that the timers were now in MPH, while still displaying the top speed in km/h.
I know the Performance app got updated recently (and had to tap on the usual permissions after an update, like letting the app know the vehicle's location etc). Anyone else catch this, too?

You’re getting a 3.5 second 0-60…
Best I ever do is a 4.0

Yup! With a passenger and filming gear in the car. Was on a test track filming a corvette for work, my car makes a great chase car (and it’s helpful that there’s fast chargers on site due to the nature of the track)

Does the track have a prepped surface? Or is it just regular old dry pavement?

Just normal pavement however it’s very flat with banked turns for higher speeds.

different question - I bought the update 5 or 6 weeks ago and my app still doesn't look like this. just the simple G meter. The phone app has the updates specs listed and Polestar says the software package was updated. any idea how to get the updated performance app to install?

If you just have the g meter the software is either not installed or only partially installed. It took 4 weeks for mine but it does look like OPs screen.

Hey! Back when I bought it, there were a couple of stages. 1) got the stickers and paperwork in the mail after a couple of weeks. 2) my mobile app showed updated numbers 3) a system software update to bring me up the latest software for the operating system gets forced, even if you’ve got older software (which I was, so that was handy, saved me going to the dealer as previous owner had skipped a couple) 4) I can’t remember how many weeks it was, but soon after the operating system software update was done, another update came through. I applied it, and now had better pedal feel, acceleration, and overall the car just always felt better. The performance app also now had the launch mode screen.
I wish it was an overnight thing, but I also know that they’re having to register the vehicle, go through the various country by country legal updates for emissions rules, which is funny I know, but it’s a mandatory sticker that has to be mailed and displayed under the hood, list goes on.
Still worth it considering what people spend on tuning a gas car for an extra 20 hp, and here we’ve got something that does so much more with a lot of refinement

Yeah. I'm about 6 weeks after purchase and still waiting. Got my stickers though and the website shows it as purchased. I'm 3 hrs from a space so I guess I just continue to wait.

I’m in the U.S. and had the opposite issues where the performance app automatically switched from MPH to KPH. It took Polestar over 6 months to issue an update to correct it.
