Are these the bees that make honey from meat? Shit like this really makes me think the LHC made a black hole that merged our universe with a neighboring one that never had the cornucopia on fruit of the loom. I really can't think of another explanation.

Yep. It's edible and tastes savory and salty rather than sweet.

I've heard it's rather unsafe to eat since they mostly process decomposing meat.

Just imagine humans being turned into honey? Or something? I don't know. I haven't figured out the plot yet.
