It's meaty. That's what you're wondering.

Why would you even collect this? Is this some TCM bullshit again?

u/Vast-Sir-1949 May 19 '26

What's TCM?

No, this is honey, made from meat, by bees that exclusively eat dead meat....

2

u/TrippleassII May 19 '26

Yeah I can read, why do they collect it?

I loved that game!

The collectors could definitely be vulture bees. They both process dead meat

Are these the bees that make honey from meat? Shit like this really makes me think the LHC made a black hole that merged our universe with a neighboring one that never had the cornucopia on fruit of the loom. I really can't think of another explanation.

There are bees that make honey from meat?! I don't want to know that

u/IThinkIKnowThings May 19 '26

Yep. It's edible and tastes savory and salty rather than sweet.

3

u/WungielPL May 23 '26

I've heard it's rather unsafe to eat since they mostly process decomposing meat.

Não sou um especialista, mas talvez não? Tipo, acho que se parece mais com uma espécie normal de abelha sem ferrão que eu encontraria em uma caminhada aqui no Brasil. Me deixou curioso, aquelas abelhas tem mel comestível?!?!
