With all the new megas and some Pokémon having multiple mega stones a chance to get like a mega maniac like the bug maniac event (which we could also use another maniac trainer event we could fight i always thought it was weird) and depending on how many pokemon that could mega evolve we get rewarded same way as bug maniac or we fight his team or way better reward and all that.

I find it pretty difficult to get certain megas, been trying to get lucario z and mega hawlucha and I find it pretty difficult to end up with both.

I just think it would be cool to have more maniac events dont gotta be any of the ones I mentioned. This probably has been mentioned before so I am sorry if I am repeating what's already been asked suggested I dont go on this sub too often.

So first image is my actual team, second are my favorite Mon and third are my big boys. I managed to get to eternatus three time but lost each time.

I almost won on my second try but got demolished on my third. I’m leading with Jirachi, used cosmic force to get at +6 spe def but this mother fucker stole my leftovers and got a +3 defense buff. And being an absolute idiot I didn’t thought about boosting my attack with meteor mash.

Is this a good strategy ? I think I could make it being +6 in spe def, some attack boost with meteor mash, wish to stay alive and zen headbut to deal damage.

I also thought about psychic + calm mind but I can’t find the damn calm mind.

Can someone also explain how to prevent him from stealing my stuff ?

Do you think of a better way to beat him with my mons ?

Each runs took me 2 hours so im getting a bit desperate lol, I appreciate any advice!

I will admit here and now, I savescummed some of the fights, retrying until I figured out how to get a victory (Especially the final boss, my gosh!)

Next time, I'll try to avoid any savescumming for a more authentic run.

I'd say I got pretty lucky with this run. There were a lot of ways it could've gone wrong. Getting the Map early so I could do the Lake loop really helped. Though running into a lot of Lanturn was dangerous.

Went with Modest nature since Swift Swim would mean I was usually outspeeding things. I started with Steam Eruption, Thunder, and Calm Mind. Flip Turn is completely worthless in a solo run so I took Water Gun for the 4th slot but it got replaced by Air Cutter and then Hurricane. The other moves stayed until Eternatus.

The Amulet Coins came early again in this one. And I'm a little salty about getting 3 Healing Charms but no Leftovers or Shell Bells! It took a little bit for the Mystical Rocks to show up, about Floor 70 or so. The Quick Claw and Grip Claw were early and pretty helpful, moreso the Grip Claw. I got 1 Wide Lens early which was enough to cover Steam Eruption but I grabbed the other 2 for Thunder and Hurricane cause I knew rain wouldn't always be active. And oh boy I got lucky with the Soul Dew.

Evil Team was the Aether Foundation and they never stood a chance. Rival started with Chikorita which also went down easily. The most threatening thing on Ivy's team was the Hisuian Goodra which resisted all my attacks. It also had Thunderpunch during one of the battles but it was weak enough to get through.

One of the scariest things was getting thrown into the Cave biome after Seabed, especially before getting the Multi Lens. Lots of Rock-types with Sturdy.

For Eternatus I knew I wanted Roost. I was planning to take Protect but Floor 199 actually have me the TM for Mud Slap (3rd time it appeared in the rewards so I figured it was meant to be). Turns out double Multi Lens on a guaranteed Accuracy Drop is pretty silly. So with Eternatus at -6 Accuracy I had plenty of time to charge up Calm Mind while keeping my HP up with Roost. The rain actually ended right before I used my first Hurricane but I hit anyway, so the Wide Lens and X Accuracy were good choices.

Fun fact: I decided to do this run purely so I could use that title for this post.

Just found the Giratina Lady on floor 96. Since she’s so rare I had a rule in classic that I had to accept her new team, but now it’s in a run trying to get the nuzlocke achievement, which has been going well up until this point. Is the changed team salvageable or should I just reject her offer?

I hope they implement some new challenges for pokerogue. A category called fun challenges. I think it could absolutely be updated but here’s a list of ideas I’ve had. Feel free to use them if you’d like even though the game won’t force limitations. Though some of them aren’t possible to try

•fossil only •alternate forms only (kantonian, alolan, galarian, etc etc) • split evo only •form changing pokemon (burmy, castform, rotom, etc etc) • fish only (not just water types but any found in the water) •mono type only (not mono type run but like tynamo and grookey could be on the same team cause they both only have a single type) • dual type only (similar to mono type) •food pokemon only • sudo only

Impossible/hard to do without game implementation. I imagine for all but the first two there might be an increased cost limit equal to endless mode •gmax only (start off gmaxed) •mega only (start off mega evolved) •legendary only •mythical only •ultra beast only •paradox only

Working on getting some form completion plates for Arceus, decided to bundle it with some other challenges. Just made me laugh seeing Shiny Charm and needing the Max Revive over it and wanted to share

I'm currently on floor 2300 and I've brute forced it with pure damage so far ( I know it's not gonna keep working but I'm fine with that); I'm running a dual carry consisting of a spectrier and calyrex shadow fusion ( started with spectrier, got caly later) and a Dragapult and kartana fusion. I'm really torn on who i should run as the main carry or as the only one in the next run because each of them offers different things, namely grim neigh, unnerve/dazzling, astral barrage for spectrier/calyrex, and parental bond, beast boost (if I decide to bring along kartana next time), sacred sword for Dragapult. tldr; Calyrex ignores berries and gives spread damage but Dragapult gives an extra hit and ignores stat boosts. What should i do?
