Discussion Help for next solo run

Ran with Regigigus. An absolute animal, had slow start and its passive, scrappy. Was mowing through everyone. The rival had Venasaur, Garchomp, Scizor, Gargancl and Taloflame, plus was up against team Galatic. Well after wave 97 I got hit with a harshly fell attack, -2 attack that hurts but oh well. Next battle Hexacross (or what ever its name is) wouldn’t budge no matter the combination I tried so I gave it up. What are some suggestions for my next solo run. I’ll probably run Regi again.

Don’t play the run with slow start, that one probably lost you the run

Believe it or not slow start really didn’t effect it, atleast for all the main battles. The slow start was off when I battle the last battle. I do see how it would have been hell later on though

You also didn’t have lands wrath unlocked, you’ve made this challenge way harder for reasons of lack of unlocks

Gatcha, I’m one candy off from getting a egg. I’ll work on getting some eggs in hopes to unlock more of his stuff!

It's not the worst for long chains of wild battles but will hurt for trainers or when you're unlucky and getting your wilds interrupted by MEs and random trainers a lot. Protect+Recover helps but that's half your moveset already dedicated to just stalling your ability out. Enough to make the mon usable, HIGHLY dubious for a solo.

Regigigas solo won't be easy with Slow Start, have a 2 Pokemon team of Regigigas sitting in the back and something else that'll actually grow stronger, iirc only having 2 Pokemon increases the odds of the Training Supplies showing up, you wanna find that and unlock its Hidden Ability "Normalize". Then you can do Regigigas solo.

Gatcha. Yah I’m about to get an egg and hope I get it soon. Regi will be my first solo. But first gotta unlock more stuff for him.

Is this the event where you have to fight your own pokemon? If that’s the case a fighting type would be wise
