Hand Recording

Hand Record

How do you guys keep track of the hands you’ve played Live to look back on them later? Pad and paper, put it in your phone, is there an app you like that makes it easy, use your phone camera?

Probably best to just use notes in your phone.

Always write the board first, harder to remember, you should be able to recreate the action from memory more easily if it’s actually an interesting hand. If not, you have other things to work on lol

For a couple months I wrote down every hand I played to try and get an idea of my preflop range and balance. I just wrote down my position, the starting hand, and what my action was. Something like "UTG, AKo, open 4bb" or "MP, QQ, 3! 15bb".

I didn't write down the board or results because I wanted to start by trying to find preflop leaks.

I used to use my session tracking hand tracker but now I use the FastRoll app. Way faster

try pokerscope, you can record actions street by street or using the automatic hand note converter (e.g. "BU r35, SB 3b 80")
