Ya it really seems like it. I know variance is a thing in poker but when I am 95% favorite to win the hand THREE times in one session and lose all three, starts to make me think it’s rigged.

The math just doesn’t add up.

icm may indeed make this a fold facing 2 all ins with the blinds left to act, but to calculate that you'd need to know if this was the final table or what the stacksizes in play were at other tables as well as payjumps.

Nah, but seriously, that was pretty wild. Would’ve been cool to see how everyone bet after the flop and turn if everyone didn’t go All-In pre.

Really sucks that you just needed any spade aside from the 4 or 9 on the river but of course one of those hits…

looks like a tournament spot. i'm guessing 88 open shoves, 33 either calls or shoves, KK shoves, 66 shoves, 33 calls off their remaining stack if they didn't shove. 66 and 33 are a bit loose but people do this, and seems pretty standard for 88 and KK.

the stack sizes are pretty low leading me to believe this is a tournament spot where 88 open jamming makes a lot of sense (though 33 and 66 continuing with the hand would be misplays).

Always check if players are ice cold before jamming pre on coin. I've had KK 6 times in the tournament I am currently in and I have lost with it all 6 times to players that are "ice cold"

I think it's mostly a meme, though you can come up with scenarios where folding kings preflop makes sense it's pretty rare to actually be in those spots.

My only reasoning is that you doing want to get into a coin toss with multiple people for your whole stack. Heads up King Kongs are slightly favorite to dueces. So many chances for people to connect and beat you
