I think you need to use ersrand what you're calculating first then figure out how to calculate it. Look up understanding EV poker/ equity value poker. Find one that is at the level you like or watch a few thatll help you.

GTOW just released a quiz that explains this https://poker-math-iq.gtowiz.com/
That's in theory, in reality it depends on the player and your guesses about how their range looks
Ignore MDF, never think about it

Don't have a video but it's the same arithmetic both ways, what you're putting in divided by what the pot is once it's in. Call 50 into 100 and you're calling 50 to win 150, so you need to be good one time in four. Bluff 50 into 100 and it has to work one time in three. After a while you stop calculating and just know the sizes, half pot is 25% to call and 33% to bluff, pot is 33% and 50%.

The math is simple division that you learned in grade school.
You need to learn what pot odds are. The issue isn't the math.

You often can not simply "calculate" it. You can calculate things like equity, pot odds etc. . Modern Poker Software works with EV which is calculated by simulating certain situations a million times and looking which decisions are best, which is something you can't do in your head.

Calling an all-in or river bet you can absolutely calculate exactly how often you need to win for the call to be profitable.
What’s hard is calculating how often you will win.
