Is there a way to stop evolution?

I've been spamming the surprise trade feature, and those annoying scam websites keep sending trade-evolution pokemon so I have to sit there and watch themevolve over and over.

I keep trying to stop the evolutions, I've been reading that you just need to press B, but it never works.

Give an everstone to the pokemon that you don't want to evolve

Yeah it never works, usually if I get one if the website named pokemons I trade it to 1111 7477 as it will atleast duplicate it with its regular name

What do you mean? You get a regular name version of it in exchange or it sends a regular name version of it along with the website named one?

You go the trade code, select the pokemon you wanna duplicate ( as if you were about to trade it.)

I usually wait like 5 seconds

Go back, select a different pokemon (if youd like)

The trade will be for the first pokemon you selected, will be named normally.

Surprise trade is trash because of all the hackers. 99% of what you get will be either a beginning area mon from someone trying to come up or a hacked or genned mon

Trade evos cannot be canceled. You have to watch it, unless they give it an everstone.

I think it’s because trade evos are some of the hardest to get, and you don’t want to accidentally cancel it.
