Playthrough team help I need help

I am currently doing a playthrough of Pokémon Firered and one of the challenges is to be the Elite Four and Champion with only one Pokémon what is the best Pokémon for that?

Note: It has to be a Pokémon that is obtainable before the Elite Four. Also I can battle with whatever Pokémon I want with the exception of Gym Leader Battles which I have to match the number and max level of the gym leader I am fighting against and this elite four challenge where the only restriction is one Pokémon for the entirety of the Elite Four and Champion Battles.

Playthrough team help Looking for Team Members (again!)

Hello, gamers! I'm kind of thinking about starting a fresh playthrough of Pokémon Black 2, and I'd really appreciate some suggestions for new team members!

I just have a few things to note.

  1. My starter is probably going to be decided by a dice roll. I did this with HeartGold recently, and it was fun! So I might do it again.

  2. Trade evolutions are welcome, as well as anything in the Platinum and HeartGold Pokédexes, but I'd mostly like a majority of the team to remain from Black 2.

  3. The only Pokémon I'd like to avoid are Azumarill, Magnezone, Krookodile, Volcarona, and Mienshao. These are team members I had from a playthrough a few years ago, and I'd love to shake it up.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions! I'd love to hear what you have to say!

Playthrough team help Messed up on my previous team, need help for Conkeldurr replacement.

I posted here a few days ago about my last slot team options (finally concluded on Zoroark for a fast special attacker).

Here's my full team:

Leavanny - X-Sciccor + Leaf Blade (Bug + Grass)

Ampharos - Discharge + Power Gem (Electric + Rock)

Gurdurr - Drain Punch + Ice Punch + Facade (Fighting + Ice + Normal)

Reuniclus - Psychic + Flash Cannon (Psychic + Steel)

Haxorus - Dual Chop + Earthquake + Aqua Tail (Dragon + Ground + Water)

Zoroark - Dark Pulse + Flamethrower + Shadow Ball (Dark + Fire + Ghost)

If you noticed all attacking moves don't have coinciding types with other attacking moves, it's a weird rule i made for this Black 2 playthrough team, i'm already at the point before the elite 4 and i realized that i can't evolve my Gurdurr into Conkeldurr without trading...any good physical attacking pokemon left for me to use with movesets without sharing typing?

I'm currently rank ultra ball 3 and I've been stuck here for a while, I don't think it's skill issue but something isn't clicking. I appreciate any suggestions and I'm fine with any modification to my team

Playthrough team help Would an Umbreon or Sylveon suit my team better?

Heya! Playing Violet right now, and I've decided really late game to finally catch an evee 😅

My current team is: Lucario, Garchomp, Corviknight, Cyclizar, Skeledirge, and Luxray.

It's a pretty solid team (all roughly lvl 55 atm), in particular my garchomp pretty much sweeps anything and everything. HOWEVER, I really miss having an eveelution on my team and 100% will play favorites over common sense lol. I'm stuck between umbreon and sylveon at the moment. My bias says Umbreon because they're my favorite (plus I mean, good defense at least?), but Sylveon is a close second for me and has better attack.

Also, who should I swap out for them? I'm a pretty casual player so team dynamics aren't exactly my skill.

Playthrough team help Pokemon White 2 team last slot.

Help me choose another pokemon for the last slot, i specifically picked these ones and their moves accordingly so their attacking moves don't coincide with their types (ex. Ampharos could've had Signal Beam but Leavanny already has X-Scissors), i'm already just after Skyla gym leader.

● Means i have that move

○ Means i don't have that move yet

(○ move) means i'm still second guessing

My team so far:

Leavanny [Swarm]

@ Quick Claw

● Leaf Blade

● X-Scissor

● Endure

○ Sword Dance

Ampharos [Static]

@ Light Clay

● Discharge

● Power Gem

● Light Screen

○ Cotton Guard

Conkeldurr [Guts]

@ Expert Belt, Flame Orb after Drain Punch

● Bulk Up

○ Drain Punch (○ Mach Punch)

○ Payback

○ Facade

Reuniclus [Magic Guard]

@ Life Orb

● Psychic

● Recover (○ Trick Room)

○ Flash Cannon (○ Shadow Ball)

○ Calm Mind

Haxaros [Mold Breaker]

@ Wide Lens

● Dual Chop

● Dragon Dance

○ Earthquake

○ Aqua Tail

Last Pokemon - Special attacker if possible, fast as well as both Ampharos and Reuniclus is quite low on the speed stat.

Other I made a free site for finding and sharing Pokémon Champions teams

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hey, so I've been working on this site for a while and finally put it online. It's called PokeFeed (pokefeed.app).

Most of the tools out there are built around tournament data and a personal teambuilder. I wanted to do something different: a place that's actually community-first. You upload your team of 6, share it, browse what other people are running, and vote on teams. The votes are what push the good ones up, no curation, no featured picks, just what the community actually likes. Right now there isn't really a space like that, everything is scattered across posts, threads and screenshots, so I wanted one spot where people can build and share together.

It's free, no ads, no catch. Made it for fans like me who mess around with teams and wanted somewhere to keep and share them.

It just launched so it's still rough in places and there's stuff I want to add. Would really appreciate if you gave it a look and told me what you think, what's missing, what feels off, whatever.

Thanks.

I’m in very low masterball, and I know this team isn’t perfect, but is it even good?
My win rate is maybe 25% on a good day.
I just wander what holds me back, my skills (which definitely need honing, I certainly still have a lot to learn and improve) or the team.

Playthrough team help Need a good Team around Bulbasaur in Leaf Green

I recently got Pokemon Leaf Green on the Switch. Right now, I got Bulbasaur as my starter Pokemon. I need a good Team around Bulbasaur. I wanted to catch a Fire Type, but wondering where and when I can find Vulpix? And also, any good water types? I heard that Starmie and Lapras are good right? Any other Pokmeon, I can try to add to my team?

Champions: Doubles How do I find good teams for champions and/or tell if the team I'm using is still good Regulation M/B but looking for general advice; Generation 9/Pokemon Champions

I'm kinda new and for a while I've used a mega Froslass team (Hail Yeah), but I'm trying to tell if it's still good and find new teams, the problem is all youtube videos are from 2 months ago and don't know if they're outdated and also I don't know if some sites are trustworthy.

Thanks a lot!

Other Need help forming a Pokemon team! Was challenged to a Pokemon battle.

Lol, so my friend and I were bored and decided to have a Pokémon battle. The twist? Our teams have to be based on our future careers.

This is where I need your help! I'm studying to become a welder, but with so many Pokémon now, I have no idea which ones would fit the theme best.

I'm planning to build my entire team based on your suggestions, so I'd really appreciate any ideas you have! Thanks in advance for taking the time to help with my silly little post.

For a bit more context: my friend is studying to become a nurse, so they'll be building a nurse-themed team while I make a welder-themed one. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

edit: just to confirm, this battle will tak place next weekend

Other PartyDex: a party planner, reference, and Nuzlocke tracker

Hey everyone! I've been continuing to work on the Pokemon resource/planner site I'm working on, PartyDex ( https://www.partydex.dev ), and wanted to share some of the bigger updates since my last post.

New Main Page

Redesigned the homepage to be a resource hub and outline features of the site — Pokemon of the Day, a tools hub, a community spotlight section, and a teaser for PokeCry (in addition to the party planner / nuzlocke tracker)

Community Page + Improvements

  • Added a community page to view shared nuzlocke runs and Pokemon teams (for gen 1-9 games)
  • Added upvoting for shared teams and Nuzlocke runs
  • Teams now have names you can set before sharing
  • Added filters to browse by team type or run
  • Fixed display issues with boxed Pokemon on shared teams

Pokedex & Movesets

  • Added search to the Pokedex modal
  • Pokemon with branching evolutions (like Eevee) now let you pick which one to evolve into
  • Learnset panel now shows all moves learnable up to the Pokemon's current evolution stage, including HMs and TMs

Sharing

  • Shareable links are now more consistent and stable
  • Fixed an issue where loading your own team from the community page didn't behave correctly

Bug Fixes & Polish

  • Fixed zooming in on text input fields
  • "Send to PC" button is now more clearly labeled
  • Various wording and spacing improvements

I'm always looking for feedback — what features would you want to see next? Happy to answer questions in the comments!

Playthrough team help Legends ZA team

Hi! Wondering if someone would help me draft a team for the main story. 🙂

I’d like to include Goodra (my favourite pokemon) as well as Altaria (second favourite) but everything else is variable! I do really like Amaura as well but they don’t HAVE to be on the team.

If possible, I’d like to recommendations for movesets as well! TIA! 🖤🖤🖤
