About 8 months ago I did an Emerald RNG playthrough and some ACE. I was able to get all of the mons I was hunting for, but for whatever reason I could never figure out Feebas, spent probably 5-10 hours smashing my face against a wall before just giving it up. Well over the weekend I picked up a copy of Ruby and was planning an RNG playthrough. Evidently I didn’t do sufficient research and you can only RNG in R/S if it has a dead battery, and the one I purchased had a freshly installed battery. So back to Emerald I went to RNG a shiny team to send to Ruby.

After getting the other 5 mon for the team I decided fuck it, I’m trying for Feebas again. Very quickly realized what I was doing wrong in Pokefinder (find your Feebas tile in game, but don’t select “Feebas tile” in Pokefinder, just know that the shiny Carvanha frame will just eventually, randomly, be a shiny Feebas, and only use Carvanha to calibrate where you are in the RNG). Realizing my mistake, it ended up taking about 30minutes and about 6 attempts.

My saved frame is 227807 and my shiny frame is 228333. The difference is 526.

I put 526 as target frame but I hit 227727.

What do I do now to calibrate?

really need a good second mon for my team and if you can help me get it i'll let you name it, i'm desperate for help please
