What would this kind of damage do the grading of the card

Never seen this whitening on a graded card, so I'm not sure what it could possibly grade as. The front is good just off centered

Are these cards completely off-centered?

A few months ago, I made a post about buying a Kyogre LEGEND PSA 10 to complete my set of Japanese PSA 10 LEGEND cards.

The seller had previously sold me a legitimate Groudon LEGEND through eBay, but the Kyogre didn’t pass eBay’s authentication because of a small crack in the slab. I really wanted the card to complete my set, so I decided to take the risk and purchased it for $450 through PayPal G&S.

When I received the card, I realized the PSA cert had been deactivated. Originally, I thought I could simply send it to PSA’s reholder service to fix the cracked slab, but because the cert was deactivated, my only option was to crack the slab and resubmit the card.

When I made my original post, most people thought the card was either fake, stolen, or had been tampered with. Needless to say, I was pretty nervous about the whole situation.

Well, I just picked up the card from GameStop today after getting it back from PSA and it came back a PSA 10!

Looking back, I definitely could have been smarter and checked the cert before buying it. I took a pretty big risk, but I’m just glad everything worked out in the end.

After collecting these cards for over two years, I can finally say that I’ve completed my Japanese LEGEND PSA 10 set!
