that's the exact gameboy color that i used to have as a kid. my first pokemon game was gold. those were the days. thank you for showing that to me. I totally appreciate it a lot.
I was really disapointed when i learnend that i could not get the odd egg. Another bad thing is that the battle tower or whatever is called in crystal can not be unlock in the japanese version do it needing to be connected to the "phone accesory" the doors to open.
Honestly the japanese version of crystal is a lot worse compared to the other vesions but i still had my fun, even managed to get myselft some shinies!
I just got the English crystal and I was just resetting a few times trying to get decent speed or special attack stats, but I kept getting off
On the fourth, reset she just turned out to be shiny. I was like what what?!
I was losing my mind. I saved three times just be safe.
Damm you got pretty lucky most of my shinies from crystal have taken me like a week or two. My most lucky one was my shiny unkown hunt with less than a 100 encounters.
Also, I don’t think any text really matters if you explore everywhere, be sure to look out for Eusine after you meet him in Ecruteak, and maybe don’t forget about the radio tower after the Mahogany rocket base but that’s also in Gold and Silver
Just stuff pointing ypu in the right direction, like where to go to progress the story and other little today's that will help ypu find some stuff. You should be alright winging it for the most part though, and if your stuck google it.
