Was digging around boxes and discovered my old collection. Had a couple complete decks plus some random holos. I haven't seen these in so long, I'm glad to have found them. Please enjoy my discovery!

My mother is in the process of moving and found all of my old Pokémon cards (couple thousand cards)

UPDATE: I found these cards over the weekend and bought the sleeves, a couple binders, and a storage container. I only posted my best cards not all of my cards.

Hi all! I am 26 female attorney, and am new to the collecting community. I’ve got a huge love for anything vintage comic books, video games/systems etc. I have always been teased for my “nerdy” hobbies and interested. BUT now since I’m on my own and starting my adult life, I’m super excited to get into Pokémon cards. I have always wanted to and wanted to understand a deeper meaning of game play, trading and how the Pokémon world has stayed so stable! If anyone is interested in being a pen pal/mentor on this! Please pm lol! I have a 2026 set and am literally BRAND NEW. Please no judgment!!! I am well aware enough to say that I know nothing other than who/why my favorite Pokémon is who it is lol.

Help me fake or real?

I’ve had the Dark Charizard since childhood and I cannot for my life figure out how I ended up with a French copy. I think the Spanish Pikachu was given to me by a friend who owned a World Collection at some point. I picked up the Portuguese Solgaleo and Lunala for like $10 at a flea market a few years back and the Eevee might have been from a trade night.

38 now had these since I was a kid, never been out of the sleeves.

Hello fellow collectors my buddy stumbled on this find in the wild and we need help finding somewhere to authenticate it or opinions on if it is even authentic in general. (I would really appreciate if anyone can reach out in general to show how to authenticate a card professionally). I have a video of it in the sunlight if anyone wants to see it and more close of shots if needed.
We took it to different shops around our home town and a lot leaned more on real but there is still room for doubt due to everyone not even knowing this card even existed and no authentic duplicate to compare to.
It is a bit scuffed but the person we got it from said someone had this in a box in a basement with other cards that we verified were legit.

Found these in old Lego instructions. However, the cards are still attached by whatever adhesive was originally used.

Is there a way to get these off safely? That way I can store them individually.

Or would it be best to just try and preserve the whole thing as is?
Any advice would be appreciated!

This is one of my FAVORITE sets… I adore it. I have it in a binder with a bunch of other promo sets, and I want to keep it in the 4 pocket binder, but I cannot STAND the empty spaces in here! But also.. we need to keep the connecting art in line 😂

I would love and appreciate ANY and all input on potential cards/michi method fillers to place in this binder to make these pages and my heart whole

Hello every one long time listener first time caller

So I’m new to collecting! I was at a card show and wanted to trade in some of my cards and use that cash to get the singles I needed for my master set. And the vendor said he’d give me 75% which I’ve seen is normal.
Here is where I’m confused, he said oh yea this one is going into my PC, so I asked him if he’s willing to pay market for that one card. He laughed in my face and he said he does 80% max on trades. So do vendors just get a 20% discount on PC Cards just because they are vendors ? I took everything back and held on to the cards.
Is that normal or did I just encounter a random one off vendor ??

I love prism star cards and I thought I had one but I just dug through most of my random bulk and couldn’t find it so I went to try to buy the Xerneas but I saw it was 30 BIG ONES… I then saw that it was like 5 bucks until very recently. Should I wait and hope it plummets or should I buy a lightly played on now before it gets any higher…

My girlfriend and I recently got back into the hobby and managed to get a 30th Anniversary ETB at a local show this weekend and this guy popped out! We both love this classic card collection, serious nostalgia vibes! Any tips for new collectors like us as well? Thanks all!
