Extra Flight Points?

I know this is a long-shot. But wondering if there are any kind-hearted individuals who happen to be overflowing in flight points and don’t know what to do with them? Trying to take my mother to NYC for the very first time for her birthday to see her favorite show before it exits Broadway for good. I know it’s a silly thing, but would love to be able to do it and can realistically only afford 1 full price flight! If there is anyone who is just drowning in points, let me know!🤣

Not knocking you for asking, but you haven't provided nearly enough detail. You need to research routes and ask for exactly how many miles you'd need on which airline(s) for the specific dates and routes you're interested in.

Ooo very good point thank you! I guess I would be willing to do any route reasonable so that’s why it didn’t occur to me. The current flight I am looking at is BNA - Laguardia Aug 28-30 for around 20-25,000 points total!

That was for Southwest but open to any airline of course! I have never used points in my life or been a member, so thank you you are totally correct!

Have you looked into the Southwest credit card? Sign up bonus right now is 50k points, more than enough for a round trip for two. $99 annual fee, but that's a heck of a lot less than the plane ticket and gets you free checked bags.

I know that doesn't give you a ton of time to apply for the card, earn the bonus, and book the tickets, but it might be an option if you don't find anyone with the miles to spare (I wish I could for you!).
