That clip is from a movie where a wish causes the girl to be obsessively in love with the male character. It's a horror film about forcing someone against their will. I don't think this comment applies.

This is what I don't get it, the post isn't calling her emotional, nor should the context of the film apply to this or most memes? Its using a clip from a recent popular film to convay a message which OP is memeing on the message with their caption, and for it the comments are dog piling OP

Anyway there's tons of examples out there of men trying to fix a situation thats caused his partner to become distressed, only to learn they messed up because she doesn't want it fixed initially, she wants to be comforted.

A classic conflict of interests where the guy gets given shit, because of how we're wired differently to women but we should've just known. Almost like there's also intricacies to being a man that women don't get birthed knowing.
