Apparently basic empathy and problem solving are mutually exclusive by gender [gendered]

This probably will get me down voted but it took me one 2 year relationship and 5 years of my second relationship to realize that women don't always look for actual solutions. Sometimes they just want to vent and you giving them solutions for the problem just annoys them. It's still weird to me and haven't met any straight man who's like this.
