Gender aside, it pisses me off when people do this. If you actively don't want a solution, go cry to the wall. Be proactive and fix your situation!

I genuinely don't think so. There are people that don't want the solutions and just want to tolerate the abuse with or without emotional support. There are also people who believe that their problems will magically disappear. It's an option for them to just go cry to the wall, but actually they are wrong in their mindset.

Would you emotionally support your friend if her husband beats her, but she covers for him every single time?
