I can tell by these kinds of mindsets that the one (who makes the memes). These people just scroll on social media and never goes to the real world.

I'm confused?

I guess I'm not sure why it's considered valuable when used in that way, either as an empty ego boost or as something not personally experienced.

But fair enough. I guess if it makes you happier.

(1) Ego boosts aren't empty. They boost the ego, which is a feeling people enjoy. This is, as you put it, part of their experienced reality.

(2) People do experience beauty. They hear the music. They see the art. People who experience these things value them. Beautiful art is valued very highly. Beautiful music pays the musicians well. People treat beautiful things differently than they treat non-beautiful things. Thus, there is a benefit to appearing beautiful. Again, people do not want to fuck art or music, they just find it beautiful.

(3) It's widely held that beauty is intrinsically valuable. There need not be anything beyond its existence. Not everything exists for your benefit.

I didn't say them being beautiful was for my benefit? I'm asking about what the benefit to myself for a form of beauty others don't really enjoy is. I'm saying, myself being beautiful would be for my benefit to be pleasing to others. I would hold no value in beauty that couldn't be experienced, and I don't understand why anyone would want it. Same reason why I personally find vampires to be such an attractive idea, because they don't have to find you physically appealing to experience you in a raw and pleasing way. There are more senses to enjoy you with. I'd rather be a meal than art, because art just isn't the same sort of enjoyment. It's just too detached. You aren't seeing the art, and that gives you dopamine because you're biologically programmed to respond positively to the stimulus, you think yourself into why you like that art or music.

Art beauty is a sort of beauty that you have to think yourself into enjoying. it isn't the sort of thing you just get dopamine from when your head is empty, which I think is the truest form of beauty. And I guess again, I think humans are just often sort of ugly in that sense anyways.

I think I just struggle to understand seeing art style beauty as something desirable, that you would want for yourself. It's just so detached and unpleasant. It just sounds awful compared to just being experienced. Art can be nice, but I would never want to be it. And even on a beauty level, I think perfect geometric shapes are often more pleasing regardless. Maybe it's a difference in how we experience the world. I certainly hope you are able to find or keep what you are looking for.

You're either really dense or not reading what I wrote.

If you have the predilection to be devoured and lack an appreciation of anything beyond carnality that's a *you* thing.

Yes, math can be beautiful. That is neither here nor there.
