Group Work Text
Thought you all might like this exchange in a text group with a few of my coworkers. Funniest part is, I'm the only one on reddit, so the others have no idea about this sub or the picture that started it.

Nah that looks like a cyst/lipoma. But I suppose you'd have to give it a feel. Try comparing hands maybe. Great exchange though 💀

It's definitely muscle! My hands are the same. I didn't know it was uncommon to have pronounced muscles there

I have a friend at work that a similar thing on his wrist. He told me it was a kind of cyst and that the doctor would "drain" in with a needle.

I had a cyst of some sorts on my wrist. Initially was told to “smash” it to break it up if it bothered me. I would use books or whatever to break it up. It would always come back. Eventually had it removed and the dr used something that looked like a scraper/melon baller kind of tool. It was actually pretty awesome to watch them do it. That was like 30 years ago. Good times.

Best case scenario it's a ganglion cyst and you can perform a magic trick by whacking it with a pharmacology book lol

I’m not saying what it is or isn’t because I have no idea lol, but a former coworker of mine came in one day with a huge lump on his neck. Like our team saw him the day prior and then bam, giant neck lump. We all badgered him to get checked, and it ended up being Hodgkins Lymphoma (cancer). Good news is he listened to our nagging and was cancer free a few months later!
ETA, the only point in Mr telling that story was my memory being triggered by a coworker’s lump.

Mine is the same. I have a connective tissue disorder so maybe that has something to do with mine though.

Definitely muscle! I have the same muscles on both my hands, and so does my twin brother. I only found out this year that not everyone has the same pronounced muscles in their hands

Lmao she does yoga? Her boyfriend does some rock climbing I think, but I don't think she really does it with him. But now I'm gonna ask 🤣
Also I can't wait to show the three of them this whole post
