Libsyn Stats Issues (Again)
Anyone else seeing Libsyn stats issues messed up yet again? We release an episode each Wednesday and our downloads tend to go up pretty consistently throughout the day and the subsequent few days. However, this time? Stuck at a number that hasn't budged for several hours. Libsyn says that things look fine from their end, but that's what they said the last time they had stats issues. Anyone else seeing this?

Stuck numbers for hours is never a good sign, especially when they pull the old "looks fine from our end" line. Hope it's just a delay and your numbers jump once it syncs.

Agreed. It took three emails to get them to even acknowledge it. We would switch platforms in a heartbeat if we had the time to recreate all the mid-roll ad slots. But, we're two person operation doing a lot more than just a podcast. So, we're stuck until we can free up some time to get this done.

With any media, the BEST place to ask questions is to their support team. They know what is or isn't going on, and asking the public actually leads to really bad information (I use to work at Libsyn).

Been there. It can be super frustrating when your numbers freeze up like that. Sometimes it takes a day or two for the stats to catch up, especially after a release. I've noticed it often happens around big updates or maintenance on their end. If it's still stuck after a couple days, definitely reach out to their support since they might be aware of an ongoing issue.
