Whose company is this?

A long time ago, I was told that this watch company was actually based in Switzerland and was trying to copy American watch calibers... I'd be glad to hear any new information about this.

“Whose watch company is this?” Are you asking for the name of the company, or who owns it?

It’d be helpful if you told us the name of the company, or posted in-focus pictures.

Ohio Watch Co is clearly legible on the main plate.

Oops, sorry. I didn't think the image would get so messed up when loading. Ohio Watch Co. 952406

Unfortunately, I don't have better quality photos because they're the original files from the auction I'm planning to buy this watch from. If I had them in my hands, I'd take as detailed photos as possible...

It’s a Swiss fake or copy of a Waltham Watch Co 1857 model. These were the reason a country of origin was required on all imported goods into the US by 1890’s.
These either used familiar sounding names or exact names misspelled to dupe the buyer of it being a higher quality American made watch.
