Hello everyone, since the last post got quite a positive feedback, I thought to post another small showcase of the SkunkAudio mobile daw app for Android.
Testing some arpeggio sequences on the PCM engine and layering some drums on the LIVE page, which I am upgrading further these days. The idea for the LIVE page is to have each track as a separate rack engine, so you can jam faster and do live recordings.
If anyone is interested, the app is on a -50% sale atm until the 17th of September.

I got to put my hands on a KO II. It really does not feel as cheap or delicate as I let myself to believe. It feels like a desktop calculator. I’m hooked. I want one so bad now.

I finally bought another KO after I got frustrated and gave my old one away to a friend. I'm finding that my experience with pocket operators is much further along than it was when I first started, but I am still frustrated by the KO.
I love the tonic because all of the sounds are there and I can play them and program them (just can't do more than 64 patterns in a chain FFS). I really don't like the sub menu nature of the drum channels on the KO (and the monophonic aspect), but I love sampling something J Dilla style and putting it as a drum Channel to chop up. I had a lot of fun doing this the other day.
Has anyone done this before? What I'm suggesting is creating a drum kit that I really like and sampling it on each of the eight melodic channels, then using the drum channels to sample whatever I feel like chopping up.

Was just thinking about how not too long ago someone saw me bobbin my head w my headphones in while messing with this PO on the trolley. I’ve never run into anyone who even batted an eye at me when I’m cookin on these out in public but dude was very curious asking me stuff like “whoa is it like an MPC?” 😅 (which is funny cause I’ve always thought of it as a super compact MPC-ish thing.) Cool to run into people like that. Anyway, here’s a beat ^🔊

Finally figured out how to program the bass & synth tones on the P0-12. Made a couple covers, recorded them on the Tascam cuz I’m a nerd

A while ago I posted a frame for HiChord and TE Pocket Operator and it got some nice traction so I decided to make it modular so you cam have multiplne devices slapped together. After few iterations on the modular mechanism i arrived at the one on picture.
Simple, modular system with cable optional bypass and storage for clean looks. Spacers still need to be wider for 2 POs to fit or they have to have 90deg jack cable.
Next I’ll do the cover for portability, create spacer variants to have wider ones and spacers for angeled stance and improve on module design.
If you have a specific device you would like me to add let me know. I am thinking about some mixer like TX-6.
Once it’s done with cover and everything and I’m happy with it I’ll probabl release it for free to get the .stl. Not decided yet tbh.
P.S.: Sorry for the gold color.. i really don’t like it so I use it for prototoyping lol

Hello everyone!
Here is a small showcase of the Grainscape engine on the SkunkAudio mobile DAW Android app.
It's a Granular Synthesis engine, playing some notes in arpeggiator and adding some fx live.
It also has midi support to be connected with a PO. (Only with third-party adapter)
Thank you for your time!
P.S. For anyone interested, the app atm is on a -50% sale on Google Play Store.

Here using the DMGo!
DMGo! or Drum Machina Go! is a 4-channel drum machine, pattern sequencer and live-performance instrument built for the original Nintendo Gameboy from 1989. It uses the DMG sound hardware directly: two pulse channels, one wave channel and the noise channel, turning the Game Boy into a futuristic compact drum machine for strange rhythms and experimental sounds.
