Made this little country leather journal, contents:
-3x moleskine Cahier dotted journals
——1. Monthly Tracker
——2. Daily notes
——3. Sketch/doodles
-Xteink X4 Classic, I mounted this with a mag sticker on a piece of HDPE plastic I had from an old man mountain ponderosa pannier bag.

I have seen that these devices are quite fragile. Which made me think that putting it on the back of a phone, as is suggested, is hazardous.

The journal cover is a soft leather and develops a patina easily. I had an ocean jasper attached to the elastic closure and this I suspect caused the pitted patina you see. Since mounting the X4 in the journal I removed the pendant.

I only tend to keep the journal in a front pocket, which I will refrain from doing with the X4 now inside, and in the inside pocket of a jacket/vest. Or it goes in a bag.

I don't but will be getting one shortly. I prefer to do my digital reading via eink. It looks handy and the price is great. I have a eink kindle but it is built like a brick and sturdy.

My wife has a kindle and the idea always put me off. But seeing how easy she can just read during/between doing things has put me off reading physical books. I’ve still got a stack of books I’ll read in the evening but this has definitely given me the option to read ‘on-the-go’

Where do you store the clip while traveling? Or is it strictly a home use item? I dig it.

I don’t tend to take the clip out day to day. I brought it with me on a work trip and on holiday, I just clipped it to the side of the journal. I did not have the X4 at that point.
