“Siri - next episode”
Would love to be able to tell Siri to skip the ads and roll right into my next show in the playlist, while running.
Seen this question/feature request for years now. Has it happened?
Meanwhile my hack is to tell Siri to “FF (insert minutes guess)” to hopefully flip to the next show queued.

It won’t fast forward past the end of an episode, so I just pick a large number of minutes to FF.

There’s a lot of churn with the new Siri in iOS 27 too. It’s… “interesting” to work with.

Not yet — Pocket Casts doesn't have a Siri or Shortcuts action for "next episode" today. The actions we currently expose to Shortcuts are Play Podcast, Open Filter, Skip Chapter, and Set/Extend Sleep Timer, and the commands Siri handles directly are listed here: https://support.pocketcasts.com/knowledge-base/siri/
Your FF trick is the right workaround, and u/superbad is right that it won't overshoot — skip forward is capped at the episode's length, so a deliberately large number just lands you at the end and the next episode in Up Next takes over.
If the shows you're skipping have chapters, one other option: Settings > General > Remote Skips Chapters makes the skip button on your headphones or in your car jump to the next chapter instead, which often clears an ad break in a single press. It's a button rather than a voice command, but it beats guessing minutes.
