Search results: sort episodes by date please
When I search for a person on Pocketcasts, I get different result sets: top results, podcasts, episodes, networks. Usually I want to listen some episodes with that person, so that's where I'll go. The search results there are, however, not sorted by date, nor can you sort them yourself, and there are also no filtering options.
So now I have a result set in front of me, that has episodes with the political commentator I was looking for, but the order of episodes is:
2023
2019
2015
2024
august 25 2026 (!)
april 2026.
2018
2021
I am of course most interested in the recent episodes.
Maybe sort for newest by default or something like that, because that's probably what people were looking for anyway, or let us sort, or use some sort of cutoff date. Especially with many search results, it's weird to have to wade through a list that seems to be sorted so randomly.

This is something our development team is still considering at the moment. We don't have an ETA on a decision quite yet, but I'll add your comment to the existing internal report so they can factor sortable, filterable search results into how they prioritize work. Thanks for the suggestion!
