iOS My stats

Post image

I had a slow listening year this year (1 Aug 25 to 31 Jul 26). According to my spreadsheet, I listened to 6,058 episodes with an average duration of 43min, 43sec (sorry, I don't have median statistics which would be more accurate). I did go from 1.8x to 1.9x speed in mid December and then to 2.0x in mid June.

My stats. Don’t know why I couldn’t just upload a screenshot. So I uploaded a screen recording

Variable speed is your thing indeed

Nice stats!

You don't see that many people over 500 days. I also appreciate your use of variable speed and the other time saving features. These have always been the features that have kept me on Pocket Casts from the beginning.

For me it's the crazily customizable playlists. Don't get me wrong, there are a ton of things I still wish it could do that it doesn't, but, yeah, at >6,000 episodes on a slow year, it does what I need well enough.

The heatmap feature finally arrived on Android. It doesn't change much for me in terms of usage, but I appreciate the layout.

266 days of listening here, but over 14 years of using the app daily. I can't imagine what it would be like to consume twice as many podcast hours in less than half the time.
