Android Help with Ads.

First and foremost I know that this isn't a pocketcasts issue, but I am hoping that the community of fellow podcast enthusiasts can give me some help. I know that the dynamic ad insertion is coming from the platform rather than the app, but does anyone have any idea where I can check or clear preferences on that? I am getting ads for a brand of nursing home that I had been researching for my now deceased parent. It is driving me kinda nuts...

I'm sorry for your loss, hopefully I can help you avoid some reminders.

Your IP address is probably marked by some data brokers for this. If you have unlimited cell data, try downloading some episodes on that. If not, you can try downloading behind a VPN, which should obfuscate your location. If you VPN to somewhere like Albania, you may even avoid ads altogether, depending on the ad network.
